Belmont Primary Pupils Get Stuck into Tree Planting!

Some of our Belmont Primary pupils have been rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty, all in the name of sustainability! Despite the cold and hard ground, our enthusiastic young people remained undeterred as they took part in a tree-planting initiative to enhance the school grounds.

With spring just around the corner, this activity aligns perfectly with their ongoing commitment to achieving the prestigious ‘Green Mark’ for the school. Planting trees not only supports our organisational environmental goals but also enriches the pupils’ outdoor learning experiences, particularly during their much-loved Forest School sessions.

The school proudly planted 10 new trees, adding to the beauty and biodiversity of their surroundings. These trees will provide shade, cleaner air, and a hands-on learning experience for our young people as they grow alongside them.
